Not Just a Logo
Your Five Step Logo Design Process
Visioning is derived from your description you have for your business/product or event logo.
The first stage in the creative portion of your logo design process is the design brief. It’s where you and your designer discuss your project in length-in person where possible, or using Skype if distance us requires this.
By giving your brand a strong personality, you can be ensured that it is both memorable and unique
Branding is all about perception. It’s how your ideal clients see you, feel about you and describe you to other people. It is currently in alignment with what you interested?
Results from ‘visioning & personification’ are now conceptualised in to a selection of sketch ideas.
Your logo designer will identify ‘keywords’ related to your company, products and services at this point in the creative processes.
BLACK & WHITE PROOFS
Using Adobe Illustrator, your logo designer will create black and white logo versions based on the ‘sketch concept’ which you choose.
Once sufficient time has been spent on research and sketching, the draft production process begins. Digital implementation is usually executed using Adobe Illustrator, a vector based drawing program.
Final Decisions. Approval. Delivery.
Once you have seen your ‘black and white’, proofs, your logo designer will show you colour selections (using PMS guides) and let you select one.
Now that a number of options have been created, the most effective choices are presented to you for consideration, in various colour combinations.
